Xavi Hernandez continues war of words over Arsenal’s Cesc Fabregas
Barcelona midfielder and Spanish international, Xavi Hernandez has gone on to launch a new series of comments towards Arsenal, regarding the transfer of their captain Cesc Fabregas.
The midfielder had previously gone on to suggest that Fabregas was suffering at the Emirates and that it was his wish to return to the Camp Nou.
Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger took these words in a negative manner and labelled the midfielder to be rude and disrespectful.
Following those words from the manager, Xavi went on to apologize to the manager, the club and its fans, however, it seems like Xavi is back to his best once again.
Xavi, when talking about the Fabregas – Barcelona saga, is quoted to have said: "I hope this saga ends soon. It's like the final piece of the puzzle which only needs inserting so it can be complete"
"Cesc is just 24 and his arrival will ensure the current cycle at Barcelona is still working."
One of the most talked about debates regarding a move for Fabregas, is whether or not he would be able to break into the first team at the Camp Nou. According to Xavi, Fabregas has the talent skill and determination to do just that and hence it shouldn’t
be a problem for him to be a regular starter for the Catalans. He also stated that the midfielder would add to the completion at the club, which would help all the players and the team, better itself.
Xavi then went on to add: "I have been competing for places with other players for 13 years now"
"The more competition in midfield, the better it is for us players.”
"I hope Fabregas comes. Everything will be better and he will be at the best club in the world."
What’s amazing is the fact that Xavi just like Barcelona, promised to do something, but ended up taking a completely different route any way. The midfielder had admitted that he would not be going to the media over the Fabregas saga, but alas, the player
seems to have done exactly that.
According to a number of experts, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 should seriously consider reporting the Catalans to UEFA. The Spanish team have spent far too much time using unlawful means to try and pursue Fabregas, but it is high time to put an end to Barcelona and their ways.
The team feels like it can do whatever it wants and face no consequences, which is exactly why they need to be made an example out of.
UEFA need to step in and try and handle the situation, or http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, along with UEFA might just end up losing their credibility forever.
