Xavi Hernandez dismisses Barcelona’s unbeatable tag
Barcelona are often considered to be the best team not only in the world but also in the history of the game. While playing under Josep Guardiola, the Catalans have managed to perform phenomenally.
In Guardiola’s first season in charge at the Spanish club, Barcelona won six trophies. It was for the first time in the history of football that a club managed to win six trophies in a single season.
Since then, the Spanish Champions have not really repeated their feat but they have still managed to grow as a team. Last season they were able to win a European double as their dreams of winning a treble were shattered by Jose Mourinho in the Copa del Rey
final.
Since http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 are considered to be a brilliant team, many call them an unbeatable side. However, the Spanish midfielder, Xavi Hernandez, thinks otherwise.
Xavi recently dismissed the unbeatable tag put upon the Catalan team by the footballing world.
As Barcelona are currently playing in the FIFA Club World Cup, there has been a lot of talk surrounding the fact that they might face the Brazilian side Santos in the final of the competition.
With respect to that, Xavi Hernandez had to speak out his own point of view. The Spanish midfielder said:
"We can’t think about the final yet. We’re not unbeatable. This doesn’t exist in the world. Every team causes us problems. We’re very excited to be going to the Club World Cup, but we need to know which teams will compete in the final before we discuss it."
Xavi also admired Brazilian football and spoke about the hypothetical game against Santos. He said:
"Barcelona-http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Neymar-c27639, Ganso and many other talented players. But for now the match is only hypothetical."
While admiring Brazilian football, he said:
"I’ve always been inspired by Brazilians, principally those who have played for Barcelona, like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldo-c31734 and Rivaldo, who I played alongside. Brazilian football has always been an example for everybody."

Barcelona will be facing Esperance or Al Sadd in the semi final match of the FIFA Club World Cup on December 15th. Xavi expressed how his side is not unbeatable and the final against Santos is not a sure shot.
