Xavi Hernandez says Cesc Fabregas's heart is at Barcelona
Barcelona and Spain's prolific midfielder, Xavi Hernandez has stated that he believes Cesc Fabregas's heart belongs to Barcelona and that the Arsenal midfielder wishes to return to Camp Nou sooner rather than later.
Fabregas learnt his trade at an early age at the Spanish outfit before moving to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 at the age of 16 to play for Arsenal. However, the 31-year-old Barcelona veteran believes that the Gunners captain secretly wishes to return
to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 someday, to play for Barcelona once again.
Xavi is no stranger to Fabregas, as the duo were part of the Spanish World Cup winning squad that took to the field, this past summer.
When talking about Fabregas and his chances of playing, if ever, for Barcelona again, Xavi is reported to have said, "I believe so. I do, because it's his wish to do it.
"I believe in life your dreams are above all, and his biggest dream is to be back at Barcelona. Arsenal have to find a financial agreement with Barcelona but Cesc's dream - and he said it publicly - is to play and triumph with
Barcelona.
"He's triumphing at Arsenal where he is captain, and he's still very young, he still has many years in front of him.
"He would adapt very easily at Barcelona. In fact, he grew up here in camp Barca, he has Barca DNA, and I would like to see him here. But it not only depends on us or him - it also depends on the clubs."
The fact that the player has made these comments just goes to show the sneaky policy that they employ at Barcelona these days. Instead of making comments via managers, the club has its star players making statements as the ones
made above, in hopes that it would help pave way for potential transfers.
The Fabregas–Barcelona saga is one that has been alive and kicking for almost a year now and by the looks of it, it might never die.
