http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 are currently leading the Spanish La Liga title race from both, Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, but the Spanish midfield maestro has stated that it is too early to speak about winning the Spanish crown.
Since Barcelona are already eleven points above the current Spanish champions, Real Madrid, many believe that the title race is already over and Barcelona can already be hailed as the winners of the Spanish La Liga.
However, their midfielder, Xavi Hernandez, thinks otherwise and believes that it is too early in the season to speak about the title as there is still a long way to go in the league.
La Blaugrana took a steady start in the league this season and even though they missed out on the best coach in their history, Josep Guardiola, they have still managed to impress their fans by managing to take the best start in the history of the Spanish
league.
The only two teams competing for the title alongside Barcelona are Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, and both these teams are far behind the Spanish league leaders.
Los Blancos, who are the current champions of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011, are currently 11 points behind the Catalan giants, and many believe that it is a gap which is going to be impossible for Real Madrid to bridge.
While speaking about how the title race is not over, Xavi Hernandez said:
“It is early to talk about rivals for the title. The two clubs will be there, though, so it seems.”
Xavi Hernandez also spoke about Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid, and how they should not be neglected.
“Atletico are very strong. It was said that they would fail, but they have made few mistakes so far. This Sunday there is a chance that we could drop points.”
“They are in a good run of form, they play well on the counter-attack and they have a striker that is fully charged.”
“We do not forget Madrid, though, for the distance that they have behind us. There is still a long way to go in the League.”
Barcelona will be facing the second-place side, Atletico Madrid, in the league over the weekend and Xavi said:
“Sunday’s game is one of the most attractive fixtures of the season and this year even more so seeing how Atletico are doing.
