The Spanish international stated that there are no rifts in Barcelona’s dressing room and gave his backing to Vilanova for his managerial career at the Camp Nou.
Spanish media circles are full of reports hinting at a potential bust-up between outgoing manager, Pep Guardiola and his replacement, Tito Vilanova. Catalan midfielder, Xavi Hernandez, came out in the open regarding the matter and put it to rest by dismissing what is being said about the Camp Nou based outfit.
Xavi stated that news of the rifts are the work of media’s imagination and revealed that there is nothing amiss in the dressing room. He stated that Vilanova and Guardiola enjoy an excellent relationship, one they have enjoyed since their time together at La Masia.
He added that everyone in the roster is united and the rumours are by-product of the change that is coming.
