The Spanish international is jubilant in wake of La Blaugrana's triumph over struggling El Grana in the Liga BBVA this past weekend.  
Barcelona's Xavi Hernandez is elated with the win achieved by the title contenders against Granada this Saturday.
The Catalans endured stiff competition as they had to wait until the last 3 minutes of the match to find their first goal of the game. 
Xavi did not start the match for Tito Vilanova's men, however, it was the midfield maestro who scored the first goal for La Blaugrana after entering the pitch in the second half. 
The World Cup winner found the back of the net in the 87th minute, inspiring his side to take all 3 points from the fixture.
Xavi stressed that he is happy with the result as his side secured 3 important points against tough opposition. 
"These three points against a well-organised Granada team are very important. They were very disciplined. It was a very complicated match, but we won the three points and that's what's important," Xavi told Barca's official website. 
"I'm very pleased that I scored, and for what the goal means to the team. We won the match, and we have a winning dynamic. [In] other seasons, we wouldn't have won this match, but tonight we did. This is what it means to have a winning team."
The match which took place at the Nou Camp saw the hosts tested by the visitors as the match was nothing short of competitive throughout its proceedings. 
Granada were successful in keeping out Tito Vilanova's men for a longer period of the match. As the game reached its conclusion, Barca were struggling to find inspiration. Nevertheless, Xavi made made his mark on the game soon after coming on late
as a substitute 
The Spaniard's goal was followed by an own goal from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Borja-c7886 Gomez in additional time, which guaranteed victory for the Copa del Rey champions. 
The Nou Camp faithful rejoiced as their side narrowly escaped embarrassment at the hands of Granada on their home soil.
