Kossi Agassa has earned a lot of plaudits in recent weeks following a number of impressive performances for the newly promoted club in the French top flight.
Although Reims have been struggling in the league this season, the form of their experienced goalkeeper is sign of relief for the bosses at the club and had it not been for the 34-year-old’s heroics between the sticks, things would have been more tougher
for one of the most decorated clubs in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899.
The latest person in the list to praise the Kossi Agassa in Reims’ goalkeeping coach, Xavier Henneuse, who feels that Les rouges et blancs are lucky to have such a brilliant player at their disposal. While talking to reporters, the coach stated that Agassa
has struggled a lot in his career but he has taken his chance well and has worked really hard to get here.
The goalkeeping coach added that the Reims goalkeeper knows his role in the team and he is a true professional and role model for the other players.
"From the moment he got his chance he just got his head down and worked and worked," says Reims' goalkeeping coach Xavier Henneuse.
Stade de Reims earned promotion to the French top flight after an absence of 33 years, and Henneuse feels that Agassa has a big role behind that achievement. The coach said that Reims have performed really well to be here and a lot of that is down to the
heroics of the 34-year-old shot-stopper.
"Now he's getting his reward, and it's clear that the team's fortunes have been steadily improving in the last two years."
Praising Agassa, Henneuse said that there are a lot of wonderful goalkeepers in the Ligue 1 but according to him, Kossi Aggasa is the best in the business especially when it comes to commanding his penalty area.
"I would say he's the best in Ligue 1 when it comes to commanding his penalty area," adds Henneuse.
