Xbox 360. 4 flashing red lights?

what does 4 flashing red lights mean. The light on the powersources is green.

Your xbox is not broken.

4 red lights means the AV cable is loose and is not plugged in correctly to the Xbox or the TV! Just check the connection and you will be back in the game!

3 Lights= System Failure

2 Lights= Overheated

1 Light= System Error

red ring of death. If u want to keep playing type in towel trick on for xbox 360 on youtube. Its not a permanet fix, if u want to fix it call micorsoft or xbox and tell them ur problem. Ask where to ship it to, it takes 1-3 months to get it back.

4 flashing red lights usually mean that the AV cables aren't plugged in correctly, or perhaps aren't functioning anymore.

Try to wipe the metal part of the cables (where they connect into the xbox) with a soft and dry cloth. Then plug it in and push it as far as you can. If the problem persists, then the problem might be internally with the scaler chip or something. If that is the case, then You would have to send it to Microsoft to fix for you.

Just listen to the people who said it's because of a cable being unplugged or damaged.

Just unplug all of your cables after turning the system off, then plug them back in.  If you get it again, do what they said and replace the AV cables.
