Xbox 360 Connecting to HD-Ready TV?

I have an hd ready tv that I recently purchased. Its a toshiba 34 inch flat screen hd ready. There seems to be a green outlet in the back of the tv that says color stream input under DVD in. I'm not sure if this works with the VGA cables that come with the 360 since I tried to plug them in and I either get a divided screen or one that is just competely blank. Any help if I can connect the 360 with the cables given?

  1. Don't try to connect your 360 to the TV using a VGA cable. It would just produce an analog signal not giving you true HD quality. Instead, your 360 must have an HDMI output. Buy an HDMI cable at your local store, connect it to your 360 to your TV. (HDMI can transfer both audio and video in HD). If your 360 does not have an HDMI input, then you can use component cables. This also produces an HD picture.
