Xbox 360 Headset, different Plugs, help!?

Question

I bought a Xbox 360 elite, after unpacking i saw the headset, my headset looks different from what they normaly look like, at the end the thing that u put into ur control is just round, that fits in the middle thing on the controler. Normaly the headset takes up all 3 slots to put it in. Will it still work? (i dont have live yet, but im getting it next week)

It should work, if it fits in the hole securely, probs just a different design for the elite

Yes, it will work, they just changed the plugs.

Yeah it'll work perfectly i think it's just a new design. I have the old style but my mate got a 360 last week and his is just the single pin connection.
