How do I make an account for xbox live?

I tried selecting,"Join Xbox live".

Then it said something like,"Connection failed.

My connection is Wired but then it leads me to a connection test.

Then it only shows the IP Adress NAT Xbox Live and other things.

Also how do i redeem a gold xbox live card?

  1. you have to run that test, and it will tell you what is wrong with your connection. If all else fails, the easiest thing to do would be by calling xbox : 1-800-469-9269

    They have good customer service, and there's hardly ever a wait.
