Xbox 360 Media Center Problem?

Ok. I've got everything set up.

my pc and xbox360 are connected to the same router.

and I checked my firewall settings and it let's Media Center Extenders run without being blocked off.

So I checked back at the Media Center.

Typed in the right 8 digit code.

but it can't find the extender.

it says that the the only problems might be that

1. Make sure the pass code is correct

2. Make sure the xbox 360 and my pc is in the same router.

3. My firewall settings might not be accepting UPnP discovery.

What is a UPnP discovery?

can u please help me by explaining step by step?

UPnp is Universal plug and play device.  Your going to have to go into your router and find this feature and turn it on.  What kind of router do you have?
