Xbox 360 Media Center videos not showing up?

Question

I have a video on my computer and I've put it in a folder with all my other videos to show up on my 360. But because the format the video was in the 360 couldn't play it. I converted the video to a Mpeg 4 video format and put it in that folder with all my other videos. When I went to check my 360 it didn't show up. I've tried putting it in other folders but still it doesn't work. Do I need to delete the original video for it to show up on the 360 or something?
