Xbox 360 Problems? Power input ?

Question

I had Error 74 (1 red light) so i brought it back to the shop that i bought it from and they replaced it as i was still was within warranty. I bought it in December 2007, and as they only replaced the console (no wires, hard drive, cables e.t.c were needed) the bottom power input doesn't seem to fit in with my old cable. Its the Socket at the bottom of the Xbox it it was vertical. Does anyone know if they have changed this input, as it just isn't fitting. also both of them are premiums with the HDMI ports, so i assumed they would be the same.

theres been lots of problems with 360's just buy a ps3, people say you actually pay more for the ps3 but add everything up e.g. accesory's for the xbox and its about 100 more, plus ps3 online may be a little craper but is free.

aurtum - 2009 onwards is ps3 years.
