Xbox 360 Processor ?

Question

I don't get why the Xbox 360 has Triple cores for 3.2 and the price is so cheap compare to the computers,a 3.2 Tri core would cost alot more,if so then is it faster than the Computers? and is it the same type processor as Pc

You must remember that Microsoft is buying all these processors in huge quantities and does every thing including Manufature and processing over sea's.

The Xbox 360 Cpu is quiet powerful but buying a 1 Cpu for personal use is much different from a large corporation buying Millions of the same Cpu in bulk, not to mention as the same technology advances it gets smaller from 90nm to 65nm making it cheaper to manufacture thus being cheaper to buy for Microsoft.
