Xbox 360 Purchase.....?

Question

Ok, i have a lot of questions about this....

1. because there is the new 60 gb xbox 360, am i able to get the 20 gb at a discount price from target or gamestop?

2. if i were to get a used xbox 360 from gamestop, should i trust that it will work?

3. how much will this cost..... buy halo 3 and 2nd controller....and a used xbox 360...or halo 3 2nd controller and new xbox 360??

I would have to agree with Jeremy on your 1st & 3rd question.  As for your 2nd question, there is absolutely nothing wrong with getting a used system to save a few extra $$$.  Always double check to see how much 1 year warrenty will cost (here in the sf bay area are around $20 - 30).

Anything goes wrong, bring it right in & you will get yourself a BRAND NEW system.  I have done it a few times myself, 2 premium 360, and into an ELITE.  After the 2nd one broke down, the store manager offered me just for additional $50.00 he'll give me an ELITE instead of the premium (since he was out of it at that point of time).

*Make sure you have an extra slot open from your router.  I wouldn't recommend you using wireless.

1.  They have people thinking that they are selling the 20 GB for $299 and will sell the 60 GB for $349, but there are several leaked flyers from best buy, k-mart, etc. that show the 60 GB for $299.  So there is really no discount.  Wait for the 60 GB.  It will be $300

2. No.  I asked and they said it could even be one from the first year. So it will work when you get it, but break soon after.

3.  The 60 Gb, Halo 3, and 2nd controller is $400 all together.  If you take the used console, it will be $300 all together if you go to gamestop.

2. NEVER BUy A USED XBOX360 CONSOLE THEY HAVE SO MANY PROBLEMS ITS NOT WORTH IT!
