Xbox 360 Questions: Old Xbox saves and video/music/image help.

I'm thinking of buying a 360 tomorrow but I'd like to know how to transfer old Xbox saves over to the new console.

Also I'd very much like to know how if it's easy to simply put images and songs and mostly videos(like mpegs) via usb drives or dvds I used for storage so I can play it on the system.

To transfer your saved games. You can't do that from the old XB to the 360. You could transfer stats from XBL to the 360... just  recover the gamertag. nyeah you could easily put mages and music and videos using a USB and connecting it.. I do the same all the time.
