Question:

Xbox 360 Surround Sound Buzzing Problem?

I have recently purchased 5.1 surround sound; but when the speakers are all turned on there is a buzzing in each of the speakers, including the sub woofer. This is connected to my Xbox 360 through the RCA cables that you get with the Xbox 360; adding to this when on a loading screen or on parts of the Xbox dashboard the buzzing is not as bad, and once you get in to a game it then goes louder. Please if you have any sensible suggestions I will be greatly thankful.

  1. lower quality rca cables can have a loose fit or just crappy cable. That will cause a buzzing sound. Buy some nice tight fitting cables and I bet it will be fixed.

  2. you know the red rca cable it sometimes transmits a buzzing signal when i have my DVD player on so i just unplug the red one and it stops

  3. It might just be the quality of your speakers, or it's compatibility with your xbox 360. Personally if you think there's something wrong with your xbox then fry it so the light turns red, send it in to the company and get a brand new one free!! YEAH!
