Xbox 360 Wireless Adapter Help!?

ok so i try to use my xbox 360 wireless adapter, it shows that is is connected to the router, but it the connection test fails at the wireless network phase, also i'm connected to the router now through the my laptop i am using ne help

You have to go to Edit Settings and set the console to connect via wireless network.
