Question:

Xbox 360 Wireless Network Adapter Alternative?

I've seen posts where people have described alternatives to the expensive wireless adapter offered by Microsoft. Specifically, this one:

I'm a little skeptical since I've just begun online gaming. Does something like this actually offer the same online gaming experience as the official 360 wireless adapter? How easy would it be to set up?

  1. I don't think that one is going to work on the 360.  It needs a Windows operating system, something that the 360 doesn't have.

  2. I would just try and find a decent used wireless network adapter. They are very reliable (had ours for 2 years) and since they are microsoft products (and should your console get a RROD) they can't say that you used a 3rd party accessory (that can kill your warranty sometimes)

  3. just get an ethernet cable put in ur360 and in your router if the ip address fails i can;t help u
