Xbox 360 backwards compatibility?

Question

I heard Xbox emulate games from Xbox on a bestsellers list.

Is this true?

Deus Ex 3 is in development, and the previous game, Deus Ex: Invisible War is yet to be emulated. The problem is, Invisible War wasn't exactly a hit, but nevertheless I'd still like to play it.

Will I have to wait months/years until Xbox finally hit Invisible War on the list, or are Xbox known for emulating previous games prior to the sequels being released?

This gives you the whole Xbox libary that is compatible on the Xbox 360 providing your connected to Xbox Live with the latest updates.

honestly there is no such things as perfect backwards compatibility  all the  xbox games are emulated in the  software  

it helps off course that the  360  is a monster  but  if  you want real backwards compatibility  that   can run everything you  throw at it  there is nothing for it but buying a  used  xbox 1

I know there is a large list if it wasn't very popular i wouldn't plan on it even getting on the I'm pretty sure they don't worry about it to much unless if there is a big hit they missed. So i wouldn't put my money on it becoming compatible. :)

Sadly, the Xbox 360 backwards compatability function has now been stopped by Microsoft, and no more games will be added to the list.

its a possibility. there is a list of backward compatible games on the xbox 360 at xbox.com

I've found out that if you send them an email to [e-mail] they usually get the game onto the next 360 update. I've requested a couple games (demon stone and bard's tale) and sure enough, the next update they were compatibile.
