Xbox 360 charge kit?

do you need a charging base for your controler? can the controler take regular battaries? becouse i would like to buy a game instead of this

Nope you don't need the charging base, its just used to charge the rechargeable batteries when they run out, the 360 wireless controllers use 2 AA batteries that can last for about a week.

If you have a wireless controller, than yes you can use any AA battery you like. Of course, the plug and charge kit is only $20, which I think is worth it.
