Xbox 360 controller problem! Please Help ME!

am buying this xbox 360 controller it says it has the charger and re chargerble battery but it does not have the battery cover, but i think that since it has a re-chargerble battery it cover it up? my qestion is if the battery cover is necessery or will i have to buy one??

A rechargeable controller battery comes as one piece.
