Xbox 360 controller problem?

Ok, so i went to turn on my 360 today by using the button on the controller, when i pressed it, the ring on the controller just flashed and didn't turn on the xbox, so i turned on the xbox manually and the controller still flashed, so i took the battery pack off the controller to turn it off and put it back in and tried to turn the controller on again, but now nothing happened on the controller, no lights came on or anything, i tried new batteries but still it wouldn't turn on, help??

What you need to do is press the connect button and restart the console a few times, Try that , if it dosent work after that , just try a new kind of batteries or look at your xbox manual . Your controller may have got something spilled on it , in that case you will have to get a new one. Peace

Try syncing the controller with the xbox 360 again....do this by holding the sync button on the controller and the one on the xbox at the same time..
