Xbox 360 disc tray problem?

I was playing cod 4 one day then suddenly,my xbox 360 makes this scratching sound from the disc tray.I open the disc tray immediately.After that onwards,I can't play any of my games.Everytime when i want to insert a disc,it will not close properly.I had to push it.It makes a loud noise when it wants to read the disc.And everytime after reading the disc,my dashboard just say open disc...I heard that i must pay in order to get it fix unlike the rrod.I just got this replacement 360 in May.So should i just make it overheat itself in order to get the rrod so i could exchange it for free or is there sumthing else i can do?

send it to microsoft ,if is out off warranty tell them that you bough it to your cousin who live in the same address   and give another name ,they register with that name and send to you a box well they are gonna explain to you what you have to do

You can blast a can of compresses air into the drive, or it sounds like the magnet is coming loose. But you should send it in.
