Xbox 360 download question?

Question

on my xbox 360 i try to download the halo 3 heroic map pack the highest percent it got to was about 10% maybe a little higher but i can download smaller things like songs for rockband and places for oblivion and also i have found a video on youtube showing to do a quick download start the download cancel the download start again would that work if i have the updates if not does anybody knowa way to take the updates off the dashboard only oh i also have a belkin54g router and the connection is wired my laptop also does thesame thing where i can't download big things what should i do

sounds like your router isnt properly configured.  If your in a hurry to download the files just connect your 360 right to the modem.  Also belkin isnt a good choise.  I use to use a belkin and they are horrible for the 360..  go out and get a linksys.
