Xbox 360 hard drive format?

Question

if i format my 360 hard drive what will i lose.

I have an xbox live profile...so if i recover my account will i lose all the game saves and such???

you wont loose your xbox live account but you will loose you saved data games and all

if you reformat it,

you will lose everything, it includes saves, files and profiles

connect to live so your profile can update before reformatting otherwise you may lose achievements that you have gotten while offline

reformat it and you can just recover the profile but you wont have any saves. all you will have is your live profile and ur achievements

Note: make sure you have all the information needed for profile recovery before reformatting. this information includes: tag name, email, email password...
