Xbox 360 help quick answers needed?

My friend wanted to know how you get the new 360 dashboard and avatars and does he need xboxlive for it and does he have to make a 18 acount.

I need step by step explenation of how to do it.

The new dashboard and avatars are not released yet.

If his xbox is connected to xbox live, he will get the dashboard in the next Xbox update. Otherwise, he can download the update from the Xbox website onto disk (when its available) and then load it onto his own xbox.

Currently, that is all we really know - that it will be made available by update. Any other options will most likely be displayed on the screen when you are installing th update.

He will not need an an 18 rated account to use it, or avatars.

He needs to have Xbox Live and no you dont need to be 18 once he connects it'll say there is a new update for your dashboard and he puts accept and it'll download the new dashboard VOTE ME AS BEST

The new dashboard and avatars is coming out this Fall, hopefully in October or Nobermber. But once it comes out in fall all he needs is a connection to the internet to get. If he doesn't have a connection to the internet he can download the update onto a disk (once it comes out) and install it onto his hard drive.
