Xbox 360 live help!!!?

Question

Ok, so i have a computer upstairs and downstairs. My computer downstairs has the wireless internet connected to it. my xbox 360 is in my room upstairs with the computer. I put in everything i could for my connection to live. ( IP code, wireless internet name/password) nothing worked! i have the main ethernet cable connected from the 360 to my computer but that isnt doing anything either. please help!

well you have to plug the xbox up to the modem or router. then just go to network settings on your xbox and have it automatically search and you should be good.

go to the setting blade go to network connection then test connectin make sure your connected other than that I can't help u cause I don't know with out further details
