Xbox 360 network adapter problem!

Randomly 5 days ago my xbox live went out while playing UT3. So the next day I tried xbox live again, said my network adapter was "disconnected". I restarted everything my router, xbox 360 etc and yet the still same "disconnected".

So today I tried a brand new ethernet cord, and again it said "disconnected network adapter". So I restarted everything and it's still disconnected, so what in the **** is wrong with my 360??

My xbox 360 is perfectly ventilated, I never play it more than an hour and h**l I don't play the thing barely at all, so I don't know what to do now!

if it says it the adapter, that means it is a physical connection that is wrong.  you mentioned Ethernet cord so you are wired. chick these things in this order.

1. power to router

2. internet connection to router

3. check if other computers on your network have internet

4. check ALL Ethernet cords attached to your router

if all of the above are ok and you are still having problems

1. try a different port on your router

2. make sure Ethernet cord is properly connected

if you are STILL having problems, i think something is wrong with the Ethernet port on your 360
