Question:

Xbox 360 question about returning?

Alright, so I bought an Xbox 360 off of Ebay, and it had a return policy. It broke before, so I returned it and the one I have now worked fine for a while. Then, roughly 2 months ago, it broke again and I think the policy is over. So, is there anything I can do to get a new Xbox 360? Doesn't Microsoft have like a return policy for 360s that have the red circle thing?

It just comes down to I don't want to shell out the extra money to buy a new one, especially if there is a possibility of me getting one for free. So is there anything I can do to return my 360 to get a new one?

  1. yes microsoft as a warranty 1 year on everything and 3 years on rrod (3 red lights)

ya  to me i would never buy stuff like new system and that on ebay because  u have no clue what happan to them or anything

if u dont got 3 red lights  look on the back and  see the date   if it been over a year  just say u got 3 lights anyways

if it been less then a year then there no point ion lieing

  2. Microsoft offers a sort of "extended" warranty if you get three red lights upon start up. I believe they will cover the cost of repair for free if that is the case.

Even if they will not cover the repair cost themselves, it is still cheaper to allow them to repair it than buy a new one. I believe they charge around 100 bucks.

The website to use for setting up repair is http://www.xbox.com/en-US/support/contac...
