Xbox 360 question?

Hi, I'm planning on buying an Xbox 360 from morocco on my holiday, but I do not know if it will work in the UK and play games from the UK, so can someone clarify if it will

i have no idea if it will work in the UK or not but i would go for the PS3 if i were you! my brother had the 360 and took it back and swapped it for the PS3, also my BF has one and it is soooo noisy you wouldnt believe so he bought the PS3 and loves it. Plus the PS3 has the Blueray DVD thing which is great and it converts all your DVD;s to HD which is also amazing! Xbox 360 is rubbish in my opionion and a few other people i know think the same thing!
