1. Is a modem just another word for router? =/

2. If so, then i can't find a way to connect the ethernet cable to my *router, although the ethernet cable can slot into the back of my computer. =/

3. Is that right? or should i dye my hair blonde.. [no offence]

modem is the box that comes with your broadband.. a router allows more than one connection as your modem will only allow 1..

The ethernet cable needs to go into the modem, and into the back of your xbox.

1) No, a modem is Dial Up. Routers are specifically for broadband

2) You have a modem. Buy a router and then you can plug it in

3) A router is the easiest way

get wireless, its much easier to connect and has better performance.
