  1. i doubt the rumor of the price drop is true, and also, no, its not fixed

  2. it ain't fixed, but they let you ship it back free and they fix it free, the only thing is you don't have it for 2 to 4 weeks

  3. Yes it has dropped in price but no you might still get the red rings of death.

    Hope this helps!

  4. sadly no microsoft has only reduce the chance of getting the RROD. i suggest getting the pro verison it has hard drive on it ( trust me you need it) and a wireless controller ( it the next gen man every thing is wireless) and sliver membership inside. while the arcade version has five games in it the lack of hard drive and wired controller makes it look like a ps2.

  5. I don't think it still fixed. We had our XBOX 360 twice already. Best thing to do with your situation is buy a non-flashed/non-modified 360 with a year of warranty and replacement so you can only hope that your XBOX will get 3RLed within that year. :)

  6. It hasn't been fixed yet.  It's only been remedied.  The Falcon chip just reduces the chance of the ring of death.  Supposedly, MS is going to release the Jasper chip sometime later this year, and it's supposed to pretty much eliminate the ring of death.

Both systems have the same chance of getting the ring of death.
