Xbox 360 rrod help???

Question

Hi only i have the 360's left 2 lights flashing i know its a overheating issue i left it off for 5 hours and still happens sounds like a jet engine at first how do i fix besides sending to ms please help

unplung all ur cords, leave it off for a day, next day turn it on

what u have is red light not red ring

why u ask

hmmmm a ring is....circlular.....what u have is half a circle.....so its not a ring...its a light

red ring is all four lights, that just means u have to turn of ur 350 wait a couple minutes and turn it back on because u got an error screan

well if you got 3 of those lights its possibly gone but if you got it once  just turn it off and leave it off for an hour or two.and i don't think u can repair it

most like you may of cook it send it to m/s for repairs most likely full of dust i know this as i have pull many 360 down and found dust in cooling fins keep in well ventilated area this means out of a tv cabinet were the back is closed and off the floor and not up against a wall need a good 30 cm clearest  the power pack can also over heat same rule apply
