Xbox 360 wired controller doesn't work

Question

My wired Xbox 360 controller doesn't work. Whenever I plug it in to my console (Doesn't matter if console is on or off because it does this no matter what)the top left and lower right corner lights blink once and about 10 seconds later all of the lights blink and don't configure to a number (player 1/2/3/4).
