Question:

Xbox 360 wireless controller keeps on turning off and on, please help.?

ok well.. when i play my xbox with my 360 wireless controller, every time i like.. move.. it turns off.. then the xbox says, "please reconnect the controller" and when i hold the back of the wireless controller, the battery part, to the controller, it doesnt do that. and YES the batterys are full. Please help.

  1. Go into your router and change your channel to 1, 6, or 11.  Don't try any of the other channels as they will just overlap with your neighbor's wireless.  That's probably what is happening righ now.  The only way to ge the maximum of 3 non overlapping channels is to use 1, 6, or 11.

  2. If you're using a Play & Charge kit then that may be the problem. If not then you should call Microsoft Customer Support at 1-800-4-MY-XBOX and if you tell them that your controller is messed up then they will most likely send you a new one.  

  3. ok well are you using batteries? or are you using a rechargeable battery pack that they sell. If its battery's try another pair, if its rechargeable then put in the batteries and see if it works without pushing them in. If it continues then call xbox like a previous post said, call them up and say that your controller or battery are faulty and would like to know how to get that fixed. Good luck!
