Xbox 360 won't read any xbox games. How do i fix it?

Awhile back i was picking up my xbox and i heard something inside of it fall off. After that my xbox wouldn't read any games. It still comes up to the dashboard but wont play any games. It doesn't have the red ring of death or anything. Whats the problem?

Could be the lens in the DVD drive is no longer functioning or broke off, which would explain what you heard break as well as the system working, just not reading/playing disks.

Best bet would be to contact MS over this problem, since all we have here are best guesses.

The games you are trying to play may not be on the list of backwards compatible games (which is always being updated).

And if your 360 plays 360 games then it is the games not the 360.

send it back to microsoft if your 360 doesnt read 360 games
