Xbox LIVE Halo 2 Problem/Difficulties

Question

I just decided to put in Halo 2 into my Xbox 360 tonight because I was bored and had nothing else to do.

But to my surprise it wouldn't let me get on LIVE, it would say signing on, then it would say there is a message from Xbox LIVE/Bungie, and I needed to go into account management to get the message.

Every time I go into account management, I dont see any message or anything I need to do for them

So I tried deleting all my maps because it also said I had some damaged files, and then It still wouldn't work.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Make sure you are connected to Live first, so all your updates are current.

Now (providing your Xbox 360 has a hard drive), insert your Halo 2 disc and you should get a message for a Halo 2 update.  Let it run.

That should be it!

NOTE:  You need an Xbox 360 with a hard drive to play backward compatible original Xbox games like Halo 2.
