Xbox Live Help Please!!?

I was recently on vacation and when i came back i tried to go onto xbox live , so i tried to connect and it said that my credit card did not work when they tried to get the payment. After that im like wtf and when i try to connect to xbox live it says i need to update my profile so i tried to update but it either freezes or takes me back to the dashboard.

any ideas to help me

(do you need me to explain it clearer, its kinda hard to understand even for me

it sounds like you've ran out of membership try buying a new card from Eb games or game stop..
