Hi People, Im about to Get Xbox Live - Im so Excited, I Know Exactly how to connect it and register to gold membership. But ive Got a Question... My Xbox, Is About 15Metres Away From My Laptop! I was wondering if i could buy a 15Metre etherenet Cord For Xbox live? Or Is that the Only Length? So Yer, Im Looking for a 15+ Metre Ethernet Cord To Plug into my xbox and modem. By the way , how much would it cost? And also - dont give me a source where i can buy one, i want to get one from a real shop

you can buy an ethernet cable from most electrical stores. not sure where your from?? if UK try comet / dixons etc if USA try wallmart places like that. You would prob be looking at about £15 - £20 ( $30-$40) from a shop.

But the answer to your question, is yes you can buy them in any length., i have a 20 metre one running round the edge of my room!

i got my 30m cable from the local markets....cost me about 20 AUD(australian dolalrs).

which would be about

15 USD

8 GBP

and so on.

anyway if your gonna go get one from a shop, they can be fairly expensive....

My new cable i got about 2 weeks ago, it's about 50-60 metres long...and it cost me about 2 bucks...

i got a reel of ethernet cord out of the skip bin at a job site(most job sites use ethernet cable now...and it comes in 200m long rolls, when they finish the job they throw the rest of the reels out.)

and i payed 2 bucks for an communications(electritian) to put the ends onto them....
