Xbox is not Reading Disc?

Question

When a insert a disc it says "Insert this into your Xbox to begin playing"

It's the same thing when I put it in my computer.

Why is it doing this?

It's like I didn't even insert the disc.

My sister broke my old Xbox and we got a new one sent back.

your not supposed to put pc games in your xbox console and your not supposed to put xbox games  in your pc. they have different formats that they run on and obviously they will never work. chances are just because you have a microsoft computer doesn't mean anything. IT will never WOrk so stop trying. Play xbox games for xbox and pc games for your computer.

It could be that your disc is scratched, and it wont work anymore, happened to my lil cousin. Your not supposed to move the 360 system when their is a game in it, it will scratch it all up. You should try it on a friends 360, or family members 360 and see if it works then. If not then its probably just scratched.

Are you sure the disc is a real disc. I once got a disc that was pirated

and the same thing happened to me. I guess you have to mod the xbox first to play it.

maby try  an xbox game for your xbox an a pc game for your pc maby that work
