Xbox live from Pc?

Okay, I saw this guide:

To get xbox live off a pc onto xbox

I get up to step 5 fine, and when I click on the how to do it for windows xp professional ( there is no option for home edition) , it tells me to go to network connections, properties, advanced and click the "allow other network users to connect". But I only get the windows firewall options, not the network users option etc.

Im running xp home edition, wondering if its becauses im not running proffessional , but if it is can you help me with it?

if you're thinking of buying an Xbox 360 you should out this site first. they give you an xbox 360 for FREE! all you need to do is complete a few quick tasks for them.
