Xbox live help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

i need an in depth guide on how to hook xbox live up to my 360 i need to know where the sockets are what cords and which goes where or even better give me the numbe of a company that can hook it up not just a name a phoen number i live in logan wv

ok, first, you need an ethernet cord, a router (or separate modem), or you can go wireless and get a wireless adapter, but you still need a router. if your going a wired route, take one end of the ethernet cord (it looks like a wide phone cord) and plug it into the back of the Xbox. then take the other end and plug it into the router after setting the router up, or into a separate modem if you have one. then just follow the instructions that show when you go to set up XBL on the Xbox. if you are using a wireless adapter, just stick that into the port that is shaped like the adapter's plug. when the router is set up correctly, it will send a wireless signal that will transmit through the whole house. then, just follow the on-screen guide on the Xbox. when your online, my gamertag is hellraiser6190
