Xbox live set up problem?

Question

i have a wireless router set up to two computer but it is quite far from my xbox.

Without buying a 100m cable or moving my router/xbox is there anyway I can set it up with say another modem??

Can i just plug my xbox into a seperate modem from my router and make it work??

Connect you 360 to your computer using a Ethernet cable. You should have to connecting in my network places. The cabled (xbox360) and the wireless (router Internet). Go to the wireless connection, click:

properties-advance- and select, allow other users to connect through this computers Internet connection.

Also you can go to windows media player 11 (in the library section) and allow the 360 to connect to it so you can play music, videos and pictures from your computer to your 360!
