Xbox live wireless ip address failed help?

I just got dsl and my modem is a at&t 2wire. I got a wireless adapter for my xbox 360 but i fail the ip address test.

you will need to configure the 360 to see the network properly.  Go to your PC.  go to start then run.  Type in ipconfig  and press enter.

you will need to give the 360 a specific IP thats not it use,  IE:  192.168.1.5

then write down the DNS servers you see in the dos prompt on your pc and input them into your right place on your 360 and your good to go
