Xbox parent account troubles. How can i make my account a parent account without being 18?

I made a parent account and a child account when i got my xbox. Unfortunatley i forgot the parent account password and the email associated with that account isn't real. So i can't change the password on the that email. I'm not yet 18 but i want to erase my parent account or upgrade my child account (otis42) to a parent account so i can switch settings and talk to people. I was foolish and should have just lied about my age. By making a parent account i've flubbed up this whole process and now need to figure out how to upgrade my child account. So is there any other ways i can upgrade my child account, or erase my parent account, or stop the association with my parent and child account? Thanks.
