Xbox warranty question?

why is it that the warranty on the 360 covers only the actual console, what if the problem is in the power brick, the hard drive, etc

the warranty covers the whole console that you buy including the accessories like the hard drive and/or power pack. If it breaks you should be able to take it back to the shop with the receipt and they will send it off to be repaired.

a 1 year warranty on every thign cbales controllor and system that came in that box and the hardrive and every problem

then theres a 3 year warranty on the rrod whitch is 3 red lights
