Xbox360 Game doesnt work?

Question

I left my Battlefield bad company lying around by accident and by dog trod on it leaving it with a rather noticable deep scratch, as you can imagine it doesnt work. Luckily i backed it up on my pc as i do all my games, but with this game, the burning is fine and i have even run a check with dvd mulleter just to make sure and it says all the game files are fine, Iam also using Verbatim discs, Yet when i put it in my xbox360 it says unplayable disc, but when i put it in my pc it says please put in xbox360 to play, it has done this twice now, Please help me i dont want to have wasted £40

get it fix in a electronic shop for a £5  or so.

Take it to your local GAME they have a machine that removes even the deepset scratches, it cost's around £3 They fixed my Gears of War no prob. Games are made on HD-DVD
