Xbox360 power supply power wont work/ no light?

Question

my xbox 360 power supply box wont turn on its light when i plug it in. i was just playing it when it randomly shut off. i unpluged it (power supply box) than tryed it another .30 sec didnt work there was no green orange or red light just nothen. need help with this problom. and dont want any answers that resolve in talking to customer support.

It might of overheated (notice the vents on it thats saposed to help) dont keep it drowned in carpet or nothing keep it off the ground and up so it can breathe, but you might have to buy a new one if this one doesnt work

Check the circuit breaker on the plug.  If I recall the 360 has one of those.

Your best bet is probably to just buy a new power supply cord.
